AURAL WALLPAPER

The concept of this graduate collection is based on the phenomenon of rave culture and the ideology of forming connections through visual and emotional communication such as movement, colors, 3D textures and optical fabrics.

Entering a 'New World' through fashion with heightened senses, feelings of euphoria, freedom, self-expression and protection, much like a rave.

The collection combines juxtapositions; structure and asymmetry, playing with shadows and light, prints and and silhouettes inspired by personal observations. Each look signifies a stage of a rave, and is inspired by the various aspects of rave culture, sartorial characteristics and symbiotic connections formed between individuals. It is an interpretation of my research done on the rave scene, and a visual journey of emotions.
